Our facility has 2 regulation NHL ice rinks, 21,000 square foot Field House, full Gymnastics Center, Rock Wall and 2 Outdoor Fields. Aviator Sport can handle small to large classes and the best part is you choose the sports and activities for your students to experience.

Tour the Historic Floyd Bennett Field

New York City’s first municipal airport, Floyd Bennett Field, was opened in 1931, the same year the Empire State Building was completed.  Floyd Bennett Field has served as the home to our Nation’s most notable aviators including Howard Hughes, Amelia Earhart, Wiley Post and the infamous Douglas “Wrong Way” Corrigan.  History buffs will relish in the knowledge that Floyd Bennett Field’s past has been well preserved by the National Park Service which maintains a collection of its historic aircraft on display in a 1950’s era “nose hangar.”

Field Trips

Aviator Sports and Events Center is conveniently located off of Flatbush Avenue within Floyd Bennett Field, just 10 miles from midtown Manhattan. With hassle-free on-site parking, on-site security, and a dedicated field trip staff; planning and organizing student field trips at Aviator is a breeze.

Field trips, class outings, scouting, and youth group outings at Aviator are unforgettable educational experiences that allow students to discover their natural talents. These programs expand student horizons and build self-esteem by allowing students to experience and learn about an extraordinary variety of sports and activities. At Aviator, student groups scale the rock wall, leap and jump in the gymnastics pit, and even take to the sky in our flight simulator. Students also have options for year-round ice skating, basketball, and indoor/outdoor turf-based field games.

Chaperons and field trip organizers love the fact that Aviator is a secure environment managed by our full-time security staff. Plus, the upper-level viewing area allows chaperons to oversee and supervise large groups.
