ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS (Traditional)

Artistic Gymnastics is one of the most popular at the Summer Olympic Games. Students learn skills on apparatus. For girls: vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.  For boys: floor exercise, vault, pommel horse, parallel bars, high bar and rings. Students will also use the trampoline and tumble track to develop and enhance skills. Artistic gymnastics is a great sport that builds physical strength, flexibility, and kinesthetic awareness along with discipline, control and patience. Gymnastics is especially beneficial for young children, because it teaches skills that promote overall fitness, while providing a structured learning environment that benefits comprehensive educational development..

Pre-School Gymnastics Ages 3-5

This class is an introduction to gymnastics in a fun and safe manner. This is the first no parent class. Children begin to learn the basics of gymnastics on age-specific equipment.

Artistic Gymnastics (Ages 6 – 17)
This course is for all levels. Students will be divided by age and ability. Girls will learn introductory skills on the floor, beam, vault and bars. Boys will learn the fundamentals of the floor, pommel horse, single bar, vault, parallel bars and rings. Trampoline is included to enhance skills. Children will be separated by age and gender with class schedule options for each group listed below.

Girls: 1 Hour
Girls: 1.5 Hours
Girls: 2 Hours
Boys: 1 Hour
Boys: 1.5 Hours
Boys: 2 Hours
