Check out the story about Aviator’s “Learn to Skate” Program on the A Child Grows in Brooklyn website. (“The home for Brooklyn parents.”)
The Aviator Sports and Recreation Learn to Skate Program has achieved great success. We are proud participants of the USFSA Basic Skills Program, and are considered one of the best Learn to Skate programs in the tri-state area. Our professional staff consists of Olympic & World coaches and competitors, as well as international performers. We are able to accommodate every age and ability level.
We offer 8 basic skills levels that allows for skaters to have fun and learn the fundamentals of skating. Skaters aged 3-5 have the opportunity to participate in the Snowplow Sam program, a program designed to prepare younger skaters for the regular Basic Skills classes.
Every two to three weeks the skaters will be tested and evaluated. This allows for the child to progress to the next level. We assure that no child will remain in a level that is not fit for them.
We can guarantee that our well developed and organized Learn to Skate Program can offer everyone something!
Parents will now have the opportunity to join their children on the 2nd half of the extended LTS and continue skating during public session every week for $5.00 (payable day of class) *does not include parent skate rental*.
The Winter Program starts December 4th.
