AVIATOR SPORTS SUPPORTS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
October 1, 2014October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Aviator Sports is proud to support and help raise awareness for this disease, which is the second leading cause of cancer death in women. According to BreastCancer.org, 40,000 women in the U.S. are expected to be die in 2014 from breast cancer.

We are proud to have Maimonides as the Official Hospital of Aviator Sports and Events Center. The Maimonides Breast Cancer Center is the only dedicated breast cancer center in Brooklyn. The center treats close to 500 women per year and offers comprehensive screening, diagnostic, medical and surgical breast services, nutrition and genetics counseling, and a full array of psycho-social support for patients and families. We are also thrilled to have our very own CrossFit Floyd Bennett Field hosting a Barbells for Boobs fundraising event on Saturday, October 11. The event is open to the public.
