Brooklyn Pharaohs Reign Supreme

The Brooklyn Pharaohs (7-2) have taken their rightful place on the throne after dismantling the Long Island Ravens (6-3) hopes at the Triboro Football League Championship last Saturday. The TFL Championship game was not short of drama as the Long Island Ravens were merely a yard shy from running away with it after Qua Repass bet the house on the last play of the game. Although the pass might’ve been completed, they were unable to reach the end-zone. When the clock hit zero the numbers on the board were set, the score was 22-18 in favor of the Pharaohs.

Last time these teams met was in the regular season when the Ravens proved themselves as a valid contender when they shut out the Pharaoh’s offense to a final score of 20-6. This championship game was a quarterback showcase as both captains kept trading shots with one another but it was deservedly game MVP Kareem Williams who came out on top, taking advantage of every second his offensive line fought for. One of the biggest highlights was when Williams was dancing on the defense once the line collapsed, showing excellent composure in a high-pressure situation.

The Pharaohs threw caution to the wind as they continued to take the Ravens to the air, watch as Kareem Williams connects with Dominick Paige for this touchdown.

What we were left with once the dust settled was one of the most exciting contests we’ve ever had at Aviator Sports, props need to go to both teams for putting on a brilliant showing that had heart, grit, and finesse. Finally, we give congratulations to the 2018 TFL Champions, Brooklyn Pharaohs, and their MVP Kareem Williams for a spectacular finale to a successful campaign.
