Before you really get into your rock climb, you should stretch to warm up the body. Spend some time traversing lightly on the wall and climbing on very simple routes. Perform stretches on your fingers and forearms to get your muscles prepped for the climb. Check out this video to see some stretches that will help you grip the wall.
