Big Apple Hockey Festival

This event started in 1998 on Labor Day weekend and was meant to be our showcase event bringing together men and women teams from all over the world as well as some of the top Umpires from across the globe. The success of this event attracted the interest of the Mayor of New York City office and the New York City Sports Commission and a partnership was formed making it a Mayor’s Cup. After ten plus successful years, attracting clubs from Austria, Barbados, Bermuda, Canada, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Holland, India, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, Ukraine and other top hockey playing nations
